Thinking abt my previous B’day….. 2007
I planned to celebrate my birthday on 29/09/2007(Saturday) evening. So I invited some of my Indian friends and planned to go out for dinner after finishing our drinks (It's was very cold on that day that’s why... :-)..).We planned to go out by 9.00pm to take dinner. But as usual we were late..!!! At last we finished all our drinks by 9.50 pm and we started by 10 pm.
Nearly 10 min’s drive from my home, we reached handforth. (Here many Indian hotels are available)
We parked the car near by the restaurant and entered into the hotel. (Called Lal-qila)
In that restaurant also bar attached... :-). So we started our dinner by having cup of beer and pappad. I ordered chicken tikka briyani for me.... (Taste was good...). We finished our dinner by around 11.45 pm. At that moment only the waiter came to know that today is my b'day. So he filled some Scotch in a cup for me and he asked me take all in one sip. What can I do....? Friends compelled me!!!
wow...I done it.... :-).... Then we planed to go to Subbu room on the way to our house. We reached there by 12.01 am; all wished Happy B'day....
After spending some time over there we started to our house. We reached our house after 10 min drive. The last and final part of the party......oooh nooo....Subbu planned something differently. We parked the car in the parking area. And I came out of the car. Two of my friends (Pravin and Subbu) were talking about something. I didn’t mind that. But they took something from plastic bag thro' it towards me...I escaped from that...
After that only I came to know that they were planning to hit me by eggs.... :-)...One shot I escaped, but the remaining two.....ouch...one was on my back side of Jeans. The other one was on my shoulder....What a bad smell.... :-(. A great b’day celebration isn’t it … A great year start with great fun….

Ganesh Chaturthi...
Birthday of Lord Ganesha is celebrated as the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. It is believed that Lord Ganesha, son of Shiva and Parvati bestows His blessings on his devotees on this day.
Lord Ganesha is worshipped, as the God of wisdom and Ganesha Chaturthi is a festival celebrated in the honor of Lord Ganesha. To enjoy the celebrations of this festival one must visit Mumbai where the Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations start a month before the actual day.
The celebrations of this festival can be seen in advance but the most important are the last days of this occasion when the idols of Lord Ganesha is immersed in the sea. This entire occasion is made more lively by the devotional songs, dances and drum beats that are a part of the procession followed by the devotees of Lord Ganesha.
About Lord Ganesha.
Lord Ganesha is called the elephant-headed God of the Hindus. His cute face and that fat stature make him stand apart from the other Gods. A snake is tied around his huge stomach and his carriage is the mouse. In almost all his images, his trunk is turned towards the left and very rarely we find his trunk turned towards the right. He is depicted with four hands in all his images and idols. Three of his hands carry- a rope, a spear like weapon and a sweet while the forth one is raised in a blessing.
In the pantheon of 33 crores Hindu Gods and Goddesses, he is by far considered the most popular, bountiful and eternal God. He is the endower of joy, the God of knowledge and wisdom. Lord Ganesha is worshipped at the beginning of every Puja and his sacred name is invoked before starting any new venture. His qualities are best described by his manifold names.
His mother, Goddess Parvati gave him the name Vinayaka meaning the remover of all obstacles. This can be seen in his other names like Vigneshwara and Vignaharta. When he was given the head of an elephant, he got the name Gajanana (“Gaj” means elephant and “anan” means head). But when Lord Shiva made him the lord of his army (ganas) he came to be known by the names of Ganapati or Ganaadhish.
He is also one of my favourite god...

Music director : Harris Jeyaraj....

A Dream Come true...
I used to dream abt tennis play when ever I see tennis match in TV,atleast one day I shd play tennis ...
Previous weekend we found tennis court's near by our residence...
We enquired about that tennis court...and came to know it's totally free ...
So 4 of us planned to buy a tennis racket...we searched for tennis racket in the internet...We found many...but we need immediately to begin play by that evening itself....as you know here in uk now summer so the sun light will be available till 10 Pm..:-)...
Atlast we found a shop near by wilmslow, truly speaking not nearby it's almost 30 mins away from our residence....Big sports shop.....
We found many choices for tennis racket....well we need to select one racket for each....we dont know anything abt the tennis racket...one of my friend called the shopkeeper and enquired about which one is best... she simply said which one is good for u then go for it...ha ha ha aha...she simply escaped from us....
So its time to take individual decision to buy our own racket... :-) ...

True Test...
This one is from Jugan....
One Night 4 College Students Were Playing Till Late Night and didn't Study
For The Test Which Was Scheduled For The Next Day.
In the morning they thought of a plan. They made themselves look as dirty
and weird with grease and dirt. They then went up to the Dean and said that
they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their return the tyre of
their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back and that they
were in no condition to appear for the test.. So the Dean said they can have
the re-test after 3 days. They thanked him and said they will be ready by that time.
On the third day they appeared before the Dean. The Dean said that as this
was a Special Condition Test, All four were required to sit in separate
classrooms for the test.
They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days.
The Test consisted ONLY of 2 questions with the total of 100 Marks.
Q.1. Your Name.........................( 2 MARKS )
Q.2. Which tyre burst?...............( 98 MARKS )
a) Front Left
b) Front Right
c) Back Left
d) Back Right.....!!!

Must see 9 O' Clock
Today i received this mail from Mansur....
A clock that has only 9's in it.Very Interesting!
Having 9's does not make it special.... U can design a clock having only 9 with 9/9 (=1), (9+9)/9(=2), (9+9+9)/9(=3) and so on... What makes it really amazing is that... it has only 3 9's in each digit representation. .. It's really great calculations and design.... ;-)
Really nice one isnt it....
